I go out for a relaxing walk with my family in Provincetown and I get angry. Read the sign below and notice the people in the background. I am sure they can read. They are just selfish people who don’t give a shit about the possibility hurting others. It’s not just the people in the picture. Lots of tourists here seem to think the sign doesn’t apply to them.
While we were listening to Tim, our favorite street musician, I noticed a man standing less than two feet behind me. His mask covered his mouth but not his nose. In as kind a voice as I could muster, I spoke to him.
Me: The sign says you have to wear a mask. Please cover your face.
Man: Then I won’t be able to breathe.
Me: My Dad couldn’t breath either when he had Covid. Now he is dead. Please cover your face or move.
Mumbling something I could hear, he left.
On another note, my son got a music lesson from Tim. He was happy.
